Pursuing My Ex Wife In Full Bloom Spring Chapter 112

Chapter 112

“Naomi,” came Charles’ gentle voice.

Naomi turned to see Charles coming out from the campus with his phone at hand. He smiled at her tenderly.

Nacrni returned the smile and walked to him. “Charles.”

Caleb was surprised to see Charles. “Aren’t you the new, most good-looking professor in school, Professor Ward?”

Charles initially headed straight for the entrance the moment school ended, but he got stopped by students the moment he left the classroom. He had no choice but to send a message to Naomi to get her to wait for a while.

In fact, he was extremely anxious, especially when he saw her response. He never expected that in such a short while, the moment he came out, he saw a man standing next to her and talking to her.

He then realized that he seemed to have gotten a little jealous. It was as if he did not pay attention to her, she would be taken away by someone else at any moment.

He smiled helplessly. When had he gotten this insecure? It was not like him.

Charles looked at Caleb peculiarly. He did not know him.

Naomi introduced them both to each other. “Charles, this is Caleb. He used to be our classroom monitor in high school.”

Caleb reached out his hand. “Hello, Professor Ward. I’m Caleb Gibson. We’re colleagues.”

Charles suddenly understood that Caleb was also a professor at Horizon City College. He reached out his hand to Caleb and said, “Nice to meet you. I’m Charles Ward.”

They have made acquaintances with each other.

Caleb, being an observant person, said, “I’ll need to make a move. We’ll chat another day.”

Caleb waved at them and left.

Charles looked at Caleb leaving before looking back at Naomi. He said gently, “I never thought your classmate would be my colleague.”

Naomi smiled. “I didn’t expect this either.”

Charles’ heart fluttered harder seeing her smile.

“Did you bring this for me?” Seeing the bag in her hands, his gaze turned tender.

“Mhm! I’ve made some food, I’m not sure if you’ll like it.”

“I will. Let me take it from you.” He took over the bag and said, “Shall we head to the lunchroom to eat?”

Naomi nodded. “Okay.”

Charles took her to the campus. When the security guard saw him, he said with a smile, Professor Ward, is that your girlfriend?”

Although Charles had just joined Horizon City College not long ago, he was a pleasant and polite character. Everyone liked him a lot.

He smiled and replied, “No. Just a friend.”

“Oh, a friend.” The security guard immediately understood. He smiled and nodded at Charles. Charles nodded politely in return.

On the way to the lunchroom, they bumped into a few students. Those who knew Charles would greet him. They also looked at Naomi, but they said nothing of it.

Charles was good-looking. Naomi was gorgeous. All it took was one look to understand the situation.

They headed to the lunchroom and found a place to sit. Naomi took the thermos out of the bag.

Charles said, “Let me do it. You sit.”

He was always worried about her hand. He would not let her move.

Naomi’s day-to-day life was back to normal, but Charles still would not let her do it.

Charles took the dishes out of the thermos and found a well-balanced feast. He smiled and asked, “Did you do all this for me?”

Naomi nodded. “Mhm. I just don’t know if you’ll like it.”

Charles smiled brightly. “I will.”

He would like anything she made.

“In that case, have more.”

Naomi scooped some food for him. He ate them all. He also reciprocated the favor.

He felt happiness like never before.

They almost finished all of the food Naomi brought. Most of them were eaten by Charles as Naomi had a small appetite. Charles knew about her small appetite, so he said nothing of it.

After packing up, he looked at his watch on his wrist and asked, “Are you free this afternoon? I’ll take you somewhere.”

He had decided where to take her since the night before. He also mentally prepared himself to confess his feelings at last.
