Eddy finally flung the shear away after Layla left.

“Of course.” Simon glanced at Eddy’s expression while responding.

“I don’t know what’s going on right now. However, it seems like Caroline is going to forgive Uncle Kirk.”

“What are you going to do next? Unless … However, Mr. Kirk did lie to you and Mr. Morrison Senior.”
Eddy walked toward the study. “I’ll definitely get married to Caroline. I’ve made a promise to Grandpa, so I definitely won’t let him down.

in the cart.

would probably feel even worse.
“Gwen, isn’t that Layla?” Caroline suddenly tugged on Gwen’s sleeves and asked.
Gwen finally snapped to her senses. “Where?”
“There.” Caroline pointed in the direction of the door.
Gwen didn’t manage to see clearly. She only saw a figure hurrying off.
“I’m not sure. But she shouldn’t be here.”
“Why?” Caroline asked in confusion.

“True. She should be at the hospital right now.”
