Chapter 137 

Everyone in the building kneeled on their knees as Titus and I walked out of the elevator together with him constantly holding my hand. 

It had been 3 hours since he woke up, after accompanying me to shed my worries, he insisted on waking up and asked why there were so many links on his head?

I just shook my head but was happy to see the proud gazes directed from all the Alphas at me which made my mate glance confused but curious. 

Luckily Melissa arrived and I quickly walked towards her as she bowed her head. towards me and my mate as if she had something to say to us “It’s good to see. you’re finally awake, king Titus” she said and my mate nodded his head towards her. 

“Thanks to you for everything you’ve done” he replied. 

Melissa shook her head “Thank your mate, my king” she said as she glanced at me and made me blush. 

What is it about everyone who seems to want to make me blush? And I just laughed shyly because of the praise given by everyone while pulling Melissa out of this room and letting my mate discuss with the Alphas who were here. 

I let out a long sigh as I sat on the sofa in the waiting room, just feeling tired and relieved after seeing that my mate was really okay. It felt like my adrenaline instantly disappeared. 

“Are you okay?” Melissa sat beside me and looked at me with worry. 

Alexa, who was not far from me, offered me a glass of tea to drink which I gladly accepted. “Thank you, Alexa” I said quietly and sipped the tea. 

Melissa smiled at me “The adrenaline is wearing off and you’re just feeling tired huh?” She was right and I just shrugged casually without answering her because 

knew she understood why I was worried and why I could breathe easier now. 

I know she told me that the poison injected into my mate was not in a dangerous. stage but still I couldn’t help but worry knowing your mate was unconscious like that. 

These few months have been very stressful, everything seems to be strangling me where you have to be careful in taking action and can only breathe a sigh of relief when you know the bad person is no longer in this world. 

I should have killed her from the start as soon as I knew my white–wolf powers were back and learned of her evil plans for me and my mate…

The white witch who became my close friend nodded her head “He is still here but his power is not as strong as before so you can no longer see him” 

I raised a confused eyebrow at her answer. 

Why did he lose his power?

She waved which I returned with a small wave before leaning into my mate who immediately wrapped his arms around me “You guys are best friends now?” He asked amusedly and I nodded my head. 

“I think the possibility of me loving her more than you is very high, be careful” I teased, which made him laugh out loud before giving me a warm peck on the side of my neck. 

“I’ve heard so many amazing things you did while I was unconscious” He said with a slight sigh and looked at me with a look of pride as well as the love I knew all along. 

I smiled at him “Just doing the right thing and also to avoid worrying too much. about your condition” he tightened his hug and inhaled my scent heavily. 

We sat there together, not caring that we were in a public room where everyone. could see us, but no one dared to disturb us and just let us spend our time together, as if everyone understood that after what we had been through, we deserved this kind of time together.
