I pecked her cheek gently which made her look up in disbelief at me. 

“I understand you’re worried, but… remember, I’m a strong woman, so don’t treat me like a patient who’s about to die, I’m carrying your baby, the future king of this palace and there’s no way a child will be weak if he has you as his father.” 

Titus smiled a little at her words and nodded his head. 

“Yes… You’re right, I forgot, I’m sorry” he said softly while stroking my cheek with that affectionate look I adore so much “I love you so much, Gwen that I’m afraid something will happen to you” he explained. 

I gave him a big smile “What could happen? I have everything here, the guards are also always with me” I said wanting to reassure him. 

And since then things have changed a bit.

Titus would be there when I woke up, he would help me shower and even get dressed, feed me and make sure every morning I would get his attention before he left to finish his business as the Alpha king.

As he lay beside me, Titus immediately embraced my body tightly and rested his head on my neck to inhale my scent before kissing it passionately. 

His embrace calmed me down, and apparently the fetus liked his touch too, because I fell asleep without any nausea not long after that. 

And from then on, every night I would sleep in his arms and it managed to alleviate the nausea and vomiting that I had been going through. 

Titus seemed very proud and happy to know that he could help me reduce my morning sickness. 

“That means the fetus already loves me as much as I love him and would do anything for him and his mother” he said proudly and I could only laugh happily at that, because it seems that this time what my mate said was very true. 

Just like I love his father, it seems that the fetus becomes calmer when Titus touches me or is near me. 

Well… It seems like it knows who its father is, even before it’s born, I thought happily. 

I thought I knew everything about life, but this pregnancy taught me something 

else. 

That affection and love can be given not only to one person, yes, this fetus taught me that I can love him as much as I love its father, my mate. 

I thought it was impossible to share my love but it happened.
