Eddy hugged Adrian’s waist, but his eyes were fixed on Caroline.
The door was falling closer and closer to Caroline. Eddy’s inner conflict became more intense.
Should he let Adrian go or not?

“Eddy!” Adrian raised a fist and hit Eddy’s stomach.

Only Caroline was safe in that man’s arms. However, she already passed out. So she would never know
that Mr. Y was here today.
“Uncle Kirk!” Eddy returned to his senses after a brief moment of shock.
Adrian was startled, and he looked at Kirk in disbelief. So he was actually Eddy’s mysterious second
uncle!
Kirk slowly put Caroline down and asked Jack to watch her.
Then, he stood up and walked toward Eddy. He no longer held back his anger. He looked like a demon
from hell.
Eddy’s legs had turned to jelly. He had to clench his fists to stop himself from collapsing in fear.
Soon, Kirk stood in front of Eddy. He was a head taller than Eddy, so he simply looked down at Eddy in
disdain.
Eddy swallowed. Then, he reminded Kirk, “We’re in Easton, not Macldo. You can’t do whatever you want
here.”
Kirk looked indifferent. “I can’t do whatever I want? Eddy, you think you may have found my weakness by

As soon he finished speaking, he hit Eddy’s nose with a steady punch. Eddy wasn’t so lucky this time. Kirk’s punch broke his nose.
He covered his bleeding nose and stopped talking nonsense with Kirk. “Get them! All of you! I’ll give those who can take them down a promotion and raise.”
The promise of a promotion and raise was very tempting. Unfortunately, the goons he had hired were still a pile of trash compared to the people Jack had brought.
Soon, they were beaten black and blue. They laid down on the ground, wailing in pain. It was a miserable

Eddy wanted to go after him, but Jack stopped him.
“Mr. Eddy, it’s time for you to pay for your actions!” Jack’s gaze was cold and murderous.
“Get out of my way!” Eddy roared.
Jack didn’t do that. Instead, he punched him. In his eyes, Eddy was the one who had hurt Caroline, so he
didn’t hold back.
And just like that, Jack quickly defeated Eddy.
Kirk and Caroline were no longer at the door. Even Adrian had slipped away at one point.
At this moment, they were in the parking lot.
